Plainspoken Takes Home Awards in Accolade Global Film Competition
First-time filmmaker Andrew Greer, producer April Dace of Dace & Mohr, and cinematographer Chris Cameron of Narrative Productions, have won two prestigious Awards of Merit from The Accolade Global Film Competition. The awards were given for director Andrew Greer’s innovative documentary, Plainspoken–an fresh exploration of Plains, Georgia's dual legacy—one of deep historical significance as the hometown of the 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter, and former First Lady, Rosalynn Carter, and ongoing conversations about race and class.
